Tackle large cleaning job

Cleaning is one of those cases where the filthier it is hard it is to get started. If you have a massive cleaning job ahead of you you’re in luck because I will share with you some great tips on how to conquer the most difficult jobs.

To tackle the big job efficiently you will first need a check-list of all the things that need to be done. You will go to every room and jot down the things that you need to do per room. This way you will know exactly what you need to do and be able to check off each thing after you accomplish it. Being able to check off your list will give you a sense of accomplishment which will continue to motivate you to finish.

It is important to start from one end of the house and work your way to the other side. This will give you an orderly way to get things done, you will never feel like you accomplish anything if you jump from room to room and never finish one job before moving on.

Start by cleaning from top to bottom in every case. Start from the ceiling then to the walls and windows finally you will want to vacuum the floor. A robotic vacuum such as Roomba would be perfect because the little vacuum while you move on to another room but if you don’t have one a lightweight vacuum will do just fine.

You want to be as mobile as possible, bring all your clean equipment into the room that you’re cleaning so you do have to move back and forth to get supplies you need. Also try to remove as much clutter as you go along. Once a particular room is finish don’t forget to the use fresheners. The sent of the room is as important as the look.

There are some preventive measures you can take to assure that clutter is not formed again. Having a basket for your mail will help big-time especially if you know the type to automatically throw away junk mail. This will also be a good place to keep your car keys so you do not lose them. Have doormats outside each and every door so people do not track dust inside the house.
